WestCOG (Western Connecticut Council of Governments) is hosting two public meetings and a survey for their upcoming Southwest Climate Action Plan.

The event is titled “Lets talk Climate Action” with the first meeting (Jan 29 at 6:00 PM) exploring how a climate action plan may impact the public at the local level, the second meeting (Feb 7th at 6:00 PM) is to collect input on the first cut of climate actions, and the survey is to understand public opinion on the types of climate action they want to see.

The proposed actions in a climate action plan, when implemented, can impact infrastructure, building requirements, and policy. All of which can have unexpected impacts.

We hope with your input to shine a light on some of these unknowns and improve our Climate Action Plan.
