are now found towards the end of the page, here. Hard copy PDFs must be filled out, hand signed and uploaded once the applicant has created the online Health application, after it says 'Apply Online'  here. For New establishments, upload the Food Service Establishment Plan Review along with the Food Service License application for your first year only. The Food Service License is valid for calendar year. Renewal notices are sent in November via email. You must have an approved FS License by January 1st to serve food in Ridgefield as per Town Ordinance §193-2 Failure to submit a completed application by December 31st shall result in the immediate closure of the food service establishment and a late fee.

For Health Review on Building (HRV) applications, a hard copy alone is no longer accepted. An online HRV application must be submitted. When you apply for an online Building application and answer the questionnaire, there will be a list of applications/permits required. If the property is on septic, an HRV is required and will be listed. We suggest you print the list and give a name to your project, so you can revisit the list after you've submitted the Building application first. It's on this list that you'll see the 'Health Review on Building' online application the easiest, and can begin by clicking on the blue 'Start' button. Once we have received the completed and paid HRV application, the Health inspector has two weeks to review & sign off on the Building application.

The Town of Ridgefield changed online permit systems effective January 25, 2021. If you've already created an email or password with another town that participates in the ViewPoint system, you can use the same email and password to create Ridgefield land use permits.

If this is your first time with ViewPoint, you must register your email and password (one time only) to be able to log on to the ViewPoint Cloud dashboard here.

** When submitting a Septic permit, you must contact the Department of Public Services and fax the attached. If you have any questions, please call DPS/Highway at (203) 431-2748.
