Daily Parking Ticket cost is $5 per day for cars parked in the area marked for daily parking - a ticket is left on the automobile by the parking authority. Please mail payment within 30 days. After 30 days the unpaid tickets will double, and after 60 days the ticket then will increase to $50 if still unpaid.
Parking violation tickets will be issued for anyone parked in the Permit Parking Area without a permit. Tickets in this area are $15 - please pay your ticket promptly. Unpaid parking violation tickets are doubled after 14 days and increase to $50 after 30 days. Scofflaw will apply to both train and tickets, after 5 unpaid parking violation tickets/daily parking tickets, the owner will no longer be able to register their vehicle until all monies are paid for outstanding tickets.
Renewals: A letter will be sent to current permit holders (Tier 1) with an applicable deadline for return - Tier 1 permits require proof of ridership from the most recent year, and payment. Those who still meet Tier 1 eligibility will be reissued a permit for the next calendar year. Those who no longer meet the requirements will fall into Tier 2 and Tier 3. If there is a waiting list for Tier 1, those people will then be provided the opportunity to buy permits at Tier 2 and Tier 3. Finally, after Tier 1 and Tier 2 permits are issued, if there are any available, Tier 3 will again be available during normal business hours at Town Hall.
