Please note: 

  • Permits for the 2023-2024 are available for purchase  
  • Complete a permit application form, attach proof of residency, include cash or check for $20 resident, $50 non-resident or $50 Local Business, come in to the Tax Collector's office for same day pick-up, OR send an addressed envelope to Tax Collector and mail it to 400 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT 06877.
  • Permits will be mailed out for all applications received by mail.
  • This annual transfer station permit is to allow Ridgefield residents, non-residents and Ridgefield small business owners access to the Ridgefield transfer station and recycling center.

Haulers, please register with the Housatonic Resources Recovery Authority 
per CGS Sec 22a.220a(d)1.
 
Transfer Station Permits for Haulers are issued through the HRRA.
 

All vehicles wishing to enter and use the Transfer Station must have a current permit.
