The meeting was called to order at 7:31 pm.
Item #1: Public Comment – there was no public comment.
Item #2: Mr. Tyrrell was unanimously elected chairperson for 2024. The Committee decided to hold off on electing a secretary.
Item #3: Review minutes from previous meetings
- There were no minutes to review as the previous meeting was canceled.
Item #4: Mr. Tyrrell:
- The bathroom renovations have begun.
- Tree work has been done on the right side of number 2, and the left side of number 11 in preparation for the installation of new cart paths. A new path will also be installed on the right side of number 4. These paths are necessary because the course now gets so wet these holes become unplayable.
- The mini excavator approved by the voters last May has arrived and the Superintendent has put it to good use.
Item #5: Old business
- Pond reclamation is on hold for now. The costs became prohibitive. Mr. Ippoliti will continue to look at wells.
- The cell tower project is on hold currently.
Item #6: New business
- Odeen’s concession agreement was extended by the BOS for a period of 5 years with an escalator in the rent.
- Mr. Mancini and Mr. Sherman have resigned from the Committee. Mr. Tyrrell will request the BOS appoint Ms. Potter to full membership.
- Mr. Tyrrell will send a notice to the Town Clerk that the Committee will hold its monthly meetings during 2024 on the third Wednesday of each month.
A motion was made by Mr. Reilly and seconded by Mr. Mischenko, and unanimously adopted to adjourn the meeting at 8:03 pm.
