Land Record Alert System
The Ridgefield Town Clerk’s office provides a free tool to help property owners protect one of their most valuable assets. Offered through Info Quick Solutions, ‘Fraud Alert’ will send an alert whenever a document, such as deed, mortgage, or release of mortgage is recorded under the property owner’s name. Documents can be viewed online or at the Town Clerk’s office. You can sign up HERE. When signing up, be sure to enter your name exactly as it appears on the land records and be aware that there may be other property owners in town that share your name.
