School Resource Officers (SRO)

School Resource Officers

In partnership with the Ridgefield Public Schools, our SRO's interact and protect the thousands of students and staff in Ridgefield's nine public schools. SRO's provide for a safe and secure school environment. In addition, they act as a resource for the students and educational staff.

RPD's School Resource Officers are members of the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO).NASRO, the world’s leader in school-based policing, is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1991 with an unrelenting commitment to school safety.
