What:   Town Research Results Discussion

Where: Ridgefield Library - Main Program Room

Who:    Elected Officials; Economic Development Commission; Downtown Ridgefield & Chamber of Commerce Members, Landlord & Property Owner Representatives and the General Public

 

The Economic Development Commission has asked members of the Ridgefield community to attend a presentation and discussion about the recently-conducted Town survey and retail study.

 

“A Town Review”, conducted in December 2015 by International Insights a leading worldwide research firm that addresses the downtown parking issue and recommendations.

“A Retail Economic Plan” completed in October 2015, by SCRE Advisors, a real estate solutions research firm discusses the challenges facing downtown Ridgefield retail and recommendations for improvement.

 

The above studies represent economic issues that have been discussed for many years in Ridgefield.  Now that we have seriously studied them with the assistance of professional consultants, we have the opportunity to do something about the challenges that both of these issues present.
