Looking for your Tick Submission Results?

If you are a Ridgefield resident, and the tick has bitten a person only (dogs are not eligible), you can stop by the Annex to pick up a tick package. Instructions are contained within the package on how you can submit directly to the CAES lab testing facility.. You are responsible for mailing to the lab. Please remember to fill out the form in it's entirety and take a picture/make a copy.

The Health department is providing the materials for the Tick test package only. We are not in contact with the lab nor know the turnaround time. If you don't hear from the CAES laboratory after a few weeks and you've checked your spam, give them a call.  The information is on the picture/copy you've taken of your application.

Individuals who have been bitten are encouraged to contact their physician and NOT to wait for the results before consulting a physician. The tick testing is helpful information but cannot be used as a diagnostic tool. It is important to record the date of the bite, monitor the symptoms, and seek the advice of your personal physician as soon as possible.
