Ridgefield 's Parks

Scattered throughout the Town are Ridgefield's twenty-one athletic fields and beautiful parks. Take a relaxing walk or hike in one of our many wooded park areas or spend an afternoon fishing in one of the numerous lakes. You and your family can enjoy a day of swimming and beach activities at pristine Martin Park Beach. A new playground and new boats have recently been added to Martin Park. Serene Ballard Park includes beautiful oriental gardens and mature trees for a cool respite on those hot summer days.

At the Recreation Center families can have fun at the Rotary's all-inclusive playground.

Dog Owners
Town ordinance requires your dog to be leashed on public property, including Town parks.
Children play at the parks and a loose pooch may frighten or be frightened.  Also, please
use pooper-scoopers to keep the parks clean!  Thank you.
