Justine H. Butler Tennis Courts

The Justine H. Butler tennis courts (located behind the old High School and Yanity Gymnasium), are available for public use when Ridgefield Parks and Recreation Tennis Programs and Ridgefield High School tennis teams are not in session.  We ask that players limit their play time to 60 minutes as a courtesy to their fellow tennis enthusiasts.  The spring season is a busy time at these courts because the high school tennis teams use them for practice in the afternoons.

If you are interested in registering for a Parks and Recreation Tennis Program, please visit our program pages for class details and fees.  For youth tennis programs, click here.  For adult tennis programs, click here.

If you are interested in general adult Round Robins, please contact Jonathan Chase at 203-894-4622.  This program takes place on Fridays from 9-11 (for Ladies). Wednesday evening adult Round Robins from 6-8 pm will begin on May 11.

If you are interested in Senior Round Robins, please contact Betsy Reid at 203-438-1104.  This program takes place on Mondays from 10-12, Wednesdays from 10-12 and Fridays from 11-1.

There are also 6 tennis courts at the Ridgefield High School that can be used by the public when not in use by students.  Use during school hours (8:00 am - 2:00 pm on school days) requires a pass from the Security Desk at the High School - bring your driver's license, license plate number, make/model of car.  You'll receive a pass to wear on your shirt and another pass to leave on the dashboard of your car.
