Friends of Ballard Park
The Friends of Ridgefield Parks and Recreation is a non-profit organization formed in 1987 and supports the activities and facilities of the Ridgefield Parks and Recreation Department/Commission. Its mission is to provide financial assistance for special programs and projects offer by the Department/Commission.
Over the years the Friends of Ridgefield Parks and Recreation has raised funds for projects which include: development of athletic fields/expansion, trees for Town, Main Street playground, the Barn-youth programs, Spotlight Theatre, Richardson Park improvements, Out & About programs and activities for special needs adults, CHIRP-summer park concerts, Debug Wheelchair-beach access for special needs, baseball field enhancements, youth and teen projects and many other activities.
Friends of Ballard Park is a project of the Friends of Ridgefield Parks and Recreation Commission, a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization.
