Springboard Diving

Springboard Diving is a new and exciting entry-level diving class for beginners ages 6 to 16.  Students will be learning front approaches, back press, basic dives, and drills.  Divers advance individually as they master each element. 

Winter Session
January 8 - March 4 (no class 2/19) at Barlow Mountain Pool

ages 6 to 10 • Sunday 9:00 - 10:00am
$275 members • $305 non-members

ages 11 to 16 • Sunday 10:00 - 11:30am $325 members • $355 non-members

Spring Session
April 15 - June 10 (no class 4/22)

Please click here for the winter group lessons schedule.  There are a variety of scheduling options.  Winter sessions range in price from $134 - $148 for members and $199  - $221 for non-members.

Please click here for the test out schedule.  A test out is required if your child doesn't have a current report card.  Test outs ensure that students are enrolled in the appropriate lesson level.  If none of these days/times work in your schedule, please call us at 203-431-2755 and we will make every effort to accommodate you.

Private Swim Lessons- Session II
Private Swim Lessons are open to members only, 3 years of age and older at any level of ability.  They are 30 minutes long with one instructor and one student.  Sessions are 5 weeks long and cost $250.

Important Details about Private Swim Lessons
• No pro-rating will be available for private lessons.
• We will make every effort to ensure each participant receives 5 lessons per the following policy:
•If the participant has an extended illness and misses multiple lessons that cannot reasonably be made up, the regular medical absence policy applies.
•If the participant misses one lesson AND the Rec. Center causes a cancellation, an additional makeup will be scheduled between the instructor and participant.
•If the participant attends all 5 regularly scheduled lessons, that participant does not have a lesson during the make-up week.
