The Ridgefield Parks and Recreation Department has a variety of membership options and programs to choose from. Wellness Center
Complete circuit of Cybex® Eagle including a Smith Press, Arc trainers, Pro Treadmills, Precor® Ellipticals, both Recumbent and Upright Bikes. We offer a full range of resistance machines, dumbbells and weighted bars, six TV monitors and personal TV screens on each treadmill.
Equipment Orientation
Our fitness staff is available for orientation on machines. A staff member will be sure that you understand each piece of equipment you will use.
Land & Aqua Group Fitness
Many classes are available at our 60,000 square foot Recreation Center including:
Cardio Kickboxing - Body Bar Scuplt - Cardio Combo - Senior Aquacize - Boot Camp
Aquatic Classes including swim lessons and parent child programs

REGISTRATION for programs may be made in person at the Recreation Center at 195 Danbury Road in Ridgefield; or mailed to us at 195 Danbury Road, Ridgefield, CT 06877. When registering by mail, send form from this brochure with total payment. For your convenience we accept VISA and MasterCard.
Senior Citizens 60 years and older are entitled to a discount on all Recreation Center programs.
REFUNDS Refunds (medical only) for the remainder of the session will be honored only when verified by a physician’s note. Prorated refunds for individual classes will not be honored, even with a doctor’s note. Refund requests made one week prior to the beginning of class will be honored with a small administrative fee deducted. Refund requests made after the beginning of the class session will not be honored. Aquatic programs are not eligible for pro-rated status. Classes missed due to holidays have been adjusted in their fees. There are no refunds on Recreation Center memberships. All class participants who request member discounts must be current Ridgefield Recreation Center members AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. There will be no retroactive non-member refunds should a person eventually become a Recreation Center member.
SOCIAL SERVICES Information Individuals who need auxiliary aids for effective participation in programs and services of the Town of Ridgefield are invited to make their needs and preferences known to the ADA compliance Coordinator and Director of Social Services, Mary Ann Baldwin. Her office is at 400 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT 06877; she may be reached at 431-2777 Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 p.m. The Special Services Coordinator at the Recreation Center is Barbara Carvalho, and if any special accommodations are needed, she can be contacted at 431-2755, Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 p.m. Individual needs are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. |
